Update

Here is an update of what has been going on this week...Last Sunday we were getting ready to go to mom's. Randy was going to cut the grass and the kids were going to swim a little if it was warm enough. I threw some clothes in the washing machine and went back upstairs. Ten minutes later, I went back downstairs and there was about 2 inches of water at the bottom of the steps. I spent all day trying to get a plumber to come out and see what was going on. The only one that could come and didn't want me to put it off until tomorrow was Neighborhood Plumber. He got here and our suck pump had backed up. Looks like those flushable wipes are not so flushable! So, we got the water cleaned up and the next day called the insurance company. All of my hardwoods and the carpet in E's room has to come up. It is Friday and only half of my hardwoods are up! ugh. The guys came at around 10, left at 11:30 for lunch, back to work at 12:45, smoke break here, smoke break there...you get the drift. They are not doing very much work. It is very frustrating.

Davis had his post op check Wednesday. His tubes look good, but he has a full blown sinus infection. Three weeks of antibiotics.....looks like winter must be coming!!! We got the results of the allergy test. They were negative but his IEG levels (allergen levels) were elevated so he is now taking zyrtec every night. We are hoping to do this instead of shots. Anyway, it has been obvious that D is not feeling well. There has been lots of whining and cuddling going on and he is not sure of all the strange people that have been in the house! I was so proud of him today. When his teacher put him in the car today, she said he was the sweetest one in the class. I know she probably says that about everyone, but i can see how much he loves it there and that makes me so happy.

Emma has been doing well, she has decided she wants to be a panther for halloween. hmmmm...i think this should be easy for me to put together! She is going to the Tennessee/Auburn game tomorrow with her daddy. They are both excited. Her fall festival is next weekend and the trick or treat trot!

Houston is just doing great! He is really gaining weight and looking like the other two! He is sleeping through the night and could not be an easier baby!

Roll Tide!

Hey girl! Looks like you guys are having a rather stressful time. At least be glad that this happened before the holidays. I sent you an email yesterday - You were on my mind, and I wanted you to know. We have quickly lost touch with our schedules the way that they are - you are the one person that I did not want to do that with. I am glad to hear that Davis is doing well in preschool, and I am very glad to hear that Houston is such a good baby. I know what you mean about Emma and kindergarten. I have felt like an outsider not knowing Austin;s friends or what is going on at all times at school. I signed up to work in the school some too - however, our Fall Festival is Oct. 9 - I cannot go, so Bradley is filling in for me at our booth. I is learning what being a mom is like - I am not sure that he is adjusting that well. Apparently, we do more than he thought we did. I think that it is good for him. I love and miss you and hope to see you soon.
